What do I wear?
Members of our St. Lucas family wear everything from jeans and slacks to dresses and suits.
Where do I park?
You can park along the street or you can also use a parking lot directly behind our church building.
Where do I go?
You can use our main entry doors along Kinnickinnic Ave.
If you want to avoid using steps, you are also welcome to use the rear entrance.
What about my kids?
At St. Lucas we love kids and remember that the service is for them too. Often one of the pastors will invite the kids up to the front for a short sermon just for them.
Also, it doesn't bother us if kids are not always able to sit through the entire service; after all, they're kids! If you and your child do need a little break during the service, there is a nursery area in the lower level.
Should I bring money for an offering?
While there is a time after the sermon for the members of the St. Lucas family to give a thank-offering to the Lord, we do not expect you to take part in this offering.
We're just glad you've come to hear the message of what Jesus Christ has done for you.
What are worship services like?
Each of our services lasts about an hour. We work hard to have worship services where everyone can follow what's going on.
As you enter the church an usher will hand you a worship folder for that service. That folder spells out the entire service from beginning to end.
Our 5 p.m. Saturday service and our 9 a.m. Sunday service have more of a traditional feel, with what's been described as one of the finest pipe organs in Milwaukee.
Our 11 a.m. Sunday service has more of a contemporary feel, with music led by our praise team.
Where are the restrooms?
There are restrooms in the lower level. If you want to avoid using stairs, there is also a restroom on the church's main level (as you face the altar, go through the left-front door marked "exit.")
