As Christians living powerfully in Jesus, we CONNECT by focusing on the path and not the destination, when we actively seek to build relationships, when we are willing to be vulnerable.
Humboldt Park 4th of July Parade
Saint Lucas Church and School plans to carry on the tradition of walking in the parade. Line up is at 8:30 a.m. on the corner of Conway and Kinnickinnic. This event can be a great opportunity to connect with church and school friends and the Bay View community. Walkers will again hand out water bottles to spectators and the Saint Lucas Praise Team will also be there, singing praises to God as they travel the parade route. Everyone is welcome!
Chill on the Hill
Saint Lucas will have a booth at “Chill on the Hill” at Humboldt Park two nights this summer!
- July 5, Orlando Pena and the Midnight Purchase / Whiskeybelles
- August 2, Peshtigo / Gego y Nony – Kids and Family Night
We would love for you to come and join us for live local music, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! Look for our booth on the hill, we will be there by 5:00 p.m. and the live music starts at 6:30 p.m. See you there!
Sunday Family Meals
On the first Sunday of the month, we gather in the church lower level following the Sunday service. Bring a ready-made dish or the ingredients to make a simple dish to share. The kitchen is equipped with everything else we need to experience the joy of preparing and eating a meal together. Plan to start eating lunch around 11:30 a.m. Working together is great way to get to know one another leading to real conversations that strengthen our Christian community. May God bless these gatherings with Christian love and friendships.
