
Mr. Michael Koestler was born in Milwaukee, WI, and attended grade school at St. Jacobi Lutheran School in Greenfield, WI, and at St. Paul's Lutheran School in New Ulm, MN. After graduating from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm, MN, he attended Mankato State University in Mankato, MN. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1994. He holds a state teaching license and became WELS certified in 2003. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Martin Luther College.
He was on staff at Washington Elementary School in Mankato, MN in 1995.
He began his ministry at St. Paul's, New Ulm in 1996, and he taught at the 6th through 8th grade levels.
He began his ministry at St Lucas, Milwaukee in 2008 serves St. Lucas as the Director of Christian Education. He teaches catechism for grades 5 and 6 and coaches the Saturday Morning Basketball Program
Mike and Patty are blessed with four children. Personal interests include hunting, fishing, football, and working on home improvement projects.
