Mr. David Tess was raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin where he attended Lutheran elementary school and high school. After graduating from Manitowoc Lutheran High School, he spent two years at the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the Software Engineering program. He then transferred to Wisconsin Lutheran College where he earned a degree in Mathematics and Education. Mr. Tess is currently working on a Masters degree at Marquette University.
St. Lucas is Mr. Tess' first call, which he received immediately after graduating from WLC in 2005. He has always loved math (which is probably why he spent a few years in school for engineering), and is very excited to be helping upper graders gain the same appreciation for that part of God's created world. Mr. Tess and his wife, Amanda, have three young sons: Kenyon, Cole, and Callum. He and his wife also recently finished serving St. Lucas as Youth Ministers for the past two years.
